To reduce resource waste, we encourage guests at The Westin Tashee to bring their own personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and towels, and avoid using disposable products. Excessive use of disposables not only wastes resources but also generates harmful waste that threatens the environment.
Many disposable products are made of plastic, which can harm ecosystems and marine and land animals, and ultimately affect human health through the food chain. Plastic waste also lingers in the environment, releasing harmful chemicals that pollute soil and water, contributing to climate change.
We also ask guests to conserve water and electricity during their stay by turning off lights and reducing unnecessary resource consumption. Together, we can help preserve Taiwan’s beautiful environment and promote sustainability.

To support environmental sustainability, starting January 1, 2025, our hotel will provide towels, bath towels, bathrobes, slippers, and laundry bags upon check-in. Shower amenities (shampoo, body wash, and conditioner) will be offered in wall-mounted dispensers. In accordance with regulations, disposable amenities will not be provided by default.
If needed, please contact our staff or visit the vending machine on the 2nd floor to purchase an Amenity Kit (NT$200 per set), which includes 2 sets of toothbrushes & toothpaste, a razor & shaving cream, comb, shower cap, cotton pads, and cotton swabs.
